Home From The Banks
New Release From Wigeon Publishing
Poems from native New Englander Arthur Raybold
SAN DIEGO, Calif. Wigeon Publishing, LCC, has released Home From The Banks, a collection of poetry from Arthur William Raybold.
"This remarkable collection offers wit, feeling and lyrical insight from a keen observer of life," said Larry Edwards, spokesperson for Wigeon Publishing.
Raybold, who grew up in Mattapoisett, Mass., and now lives in Southern California, served as Chairman of the English Department at Middlesex School in Concord, Mass., where he instilled a love of language in his students.
His poems reflect not only that love of language and turn of phrase, but his love of life and those around him.
Live, laugh, and shed a tear as this poet takes you on a stroll with the people, places, and pooches we all can relate to, from Mattapoisett to San Diego.
What's like . . . his dog licking the raindrops running down the outside pane? The reader is left pondering that and other mysteries we encounter in our daily lives as his subjects range from a love of beagles to his love of life and those around him.
Raybold, a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., now serves as a corporate executive at a construction and facilities services company in San Diego, Calif. He intends to offer poetry workshops for business executives as a means of enhancing their personal development and increase the growth of their operations.
