Memoir About Phyllis Diller Now on Sale

In her new book, Robin Skone-Palmer recalls her days working as a personal secretary for the beloved, ground-breaking comedienne.
— The author treats readers to a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a professional comedian, the travels and the traviails—and Diller's curious approach toward cooking.
— During the time Skone-Palmer worked for Diller, they shared raucous laughter, mind-numbing boredom, and occasionally absolute terror. The work relationship became a friendship that lasted to the day of Diller's death last August.
— After leaving Diller's employment, Skone-Palmer became one of the "Dustbiters," a term Diller coined to affectionately describe her favorite former employees.
— Diller even endorsed the memoir (before she died), writing on one of those sticky notes she had so often used: Robin Skone-Palmer has written a book—it is FABULOUS!

Skone-Palmer now lives in Las Vegas with her two cats. She divides her time between golf, pottery, and teaching after-school Bible clubs. She also collects wine—at least long enough to chill it before she pulls the cork.
